Postdoctoral Researcher
Andréanne is a postdoctoral researcher and work package leader on the Horizon Europe project ReHousIn. She holds a PhD in Environmental Science and Sustainability from ICTA-UAB, a MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), and a Bachelor’s in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences from McGill University. Her research explores the social, institutional, and political processes that shape just, resilient, and healthy cities, with a focus on climate adaptation, housing justice, and health equity. Her dissertation, Beyond the Checklist: Foundational Justice and Institutional Transformation in Participatory Climate, Housing, and Health Governance, examined how participatory planning processes can be reimagined to advance justice and strengthen community-based action in urban governance.
